Willis McGahee runs well in third tuneup game

Willis McGahee rushed seven times for 27 yards and added one catch for 14 yards in Sunday's preseason game against the 49ers.
McGahee showed well against the Niners' staunch first-team defense. He started and showed surprising burst while backup Lance Ball was used strictly as a change-of-pace option. Ball later left with a chest injury and did not return. Through three preseason games, McGahee has rushed 19 times for 71 yards (3.73 YPC) with one touchdown. He's locked in as the Broncos' early-down pounder and goal-line back.
