Jacory Harris Noticeably bigger

Jacory Harris is noticeably bigger since his last snap as a Miami Hurricane. The quarterback said he is at around 203 pounds as of Thursday. That number is up from the end of his senior season when he weighed 192 pounds. “I’m at a good weight right now,” he said. “I feel comfortable, I feel good, and I feel strong.”

During Thursday’s Pro Day, scouts were looking for Harris to display his arm strength rather than his touch with the football. According to Harris, scouts liked what they saw, telling him, “Way to rip the ball.”

ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. has gone on the record saying Harris will not be drafted. Here are Harris’ thoughts on that statement: “I don’t deal with it anyway because two years ago [Kiper] was talking about that I was a second-round quarterback. It really doesn’t matter, people change their opinions. He’s a great guy, and he’s an NFL analyst. But he’s not an NFL scout or somebody that’s going to be making the decisions.”
